Clyde Boucher, MSW, LCSW is a licensed clinical social worker. He has been
working in mental health and addiction services providing individual, group,
couples, and family therapy for over 35 years.
utilizes an Intergenerational Family Systems approach being attuned to the
influence of culture, gender, class, and ethnicity of families, and the
debilitating effects of trauma on relationships.
is especially interested in the use of Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to
address the effects of trauma on the attachment bonds within couples, and
enabling them to have fully connected and intimate lives.
has advanced training in trauma recovery, couple therapy, family therapy,
mindfulness, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and recovery
from chemical and behavioral addictions.
holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and a Master of Social Work from Rutgers
is certified in clinical supervision and EMDR Level II.
