Carey Gatti, LAC comes to CFCE with a passion for helping youth overcome challenges while discovering and expanding upon their existing strengths.
Combining a decade of experience working with children and adolescents in various settings with a compassionate, integrated approach to counseling, Carey assists clients in achieving optimal well-being. It is her belief that through age appropriate, individualized services which foster emotional literacy, positive self-talk, and skill building, her clients can improve self-esteem, build resilience, enjoy more fulfilling relationships, and live happier, healthier lives.
Carey also has vast experience working with individuals with special needs, and believes in the power of creativity in therapy through the use of play, art, music, and movement.
She received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Rider University and was awarded a Master of Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The College of New Jersey (TCNJ).
In her free time, Carey enjoys reading, the outdoors, and spending time with loved ones, including her two dogs. She is an avid animal lover and advocate and is pursuing a certificate in animal-assisted therapy.
